At Najeh, we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

a) Data stored only on your device

• Specialty and education level you selected
• Expected exam date
• Your question progress (correct, wrong, skipped answers)
• Quiz history
• Language and notification preferences

This data never leaves your device and is stored in the app's UserDefaults. Only you can access it.

b) Data sent to our server (AI Assistant)

When you use the AI Assistant feature, the text you write is sent through our Cloudflare Workers server to OpenAI's models to generate a response. This text:

• Contains no name or personal identifier added by us
• Is not permanently stored on our server
• Is processed only to deliver your answer

Please do not enter real patient information or identifying details into the AI Assistant.

c) Push notification token

If you allow notifications, the app sends your APNs device token to our server and stores it so we can deliver study reminders. This token:

• Identifies a device, not you — it is not linked to your name or email
• Is never used for tracking and is not shared with any third party
• Stops being sent if you turn notifications off in iOS Settings

d) Question error reports

If you tap "Report a clinical error" on a question, we send only the question's id, its text, and the app version so we can review and correct it. Nothing about you is sent — no device identifier, no answers, no progress.

e) Apple data (subscriptions)

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple's StoreKit. We only receive subscription status — we never see your card or payment information.

2. What We Don't Collect

• ❌ We don't collect your name, ID, or email (unless you contact us)
• ❌ We don't use analytics or tracking tools
• ❌ We don't share your data with any third party for advertising
• ❌ We don't sell your data

3. Your Rights

• Access: All your data is on your device — visible in app settings
• Deletion: Delete your account permanently from "My Profile" → "Delete Account"
• Cancel subscription: Apple Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions

4. Security

All communication between the app and our server is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS 1.3). Data on your device is protected by iOS security.

5. Children

The app is intended for adult healthcare practitioners (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and announce changes in the app.
